Brikama United will host Gambian Dutch Lions FC in their final league match and the West Coast derby at the Boxba Mini Stadium this afternoon.

The Sateyba boys face Gambian Dutch Lions FC for the second time since the newcomers gained promotion to the top flight last season.

In the first-leg fixture, Brikama United lost 2-1 to the Dutch Lions in Basori, and Coach Modou Lamin Touray’s side will hope to make amends with a win on home soil.

Dutch Lions, buoyed by their earlier victory over Brikama United, are brimming with confidence and will be aiming for another win as the top-flight debutants look to wrap up the season on a high note.

Brikama United currently sit 6th on the table with 40 points and will be targeting all three points while hoping BST Galaxy FC and Bombada drop points to possibly secure a 4th-place finish in the GFF Men’s Division One table. Gambian Dutch Lions, meanwhile, will be looking to complete the double over Brikama United and finish mid-table.

Elsewhere, BST Galaxy FC could secure a dream 3rd-place finish as Coach Malang Yaffa’s boys face Steve Biko FC in their final league game at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Yundum.

The Galaxies must win and hope Falcons FC drop maximum points against Hart FC at the Soma Mini Stadium. A win for Galaxy combined with a Falcons slip would see BST Galaxy leapfrog into 3rd place on superior goal difference.
