Trial Over Shooting of PIU Officers Resumes Today

The trial over the fatal shooting of PIU officers is set to resume on Tuesday.

The sixth prosecution witness Ebou Sowe is set to continue his testimony as the case resumes today.

He began his testimony on 18 December 2023, but the case was adjourned to today after a recess.

Brufut native Ousainou Bojang is being tried for allegedly killing two paramilitary officers and critically injuring a female officer in an alleged shooting at Sukuta/Jabang Traffic Light sometime last year.

His sister is also undergoing trial for allegedly aiding him to flee the jurisdiction upon the alleged shooting.
