Momodou Bojang threatened to kill me with cutlass’ says Omar Jabbie

The Real Estate Constructor, Omar Jabbie on Wednesday testified at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court presided over by Magistrate Mben Faal that he was threatened with a cutlass by Momodou Bojang.

Omar Jabbie told the court that the public road of his construction site at Bakau K Point was blocked by branches of trees that hindered his truck from passing.

He further stated that when he reported the blockage of the road at Kotu Anti-Crime Unit, he was referred to the Physical Planning Office which had visited the scene to remove the branches of the tree from the road and warned Bojang to stop blocking the public road.

Meanwhile, he said on the 10th of August 2023 MomodouBojang threatened him with a cutlass, prompting him to report the accused at the Anti-Crime Office which led to his arrest.

In his particular offence pressed against him, Momodou Bojangread that on about the 11th August 2023 at Kotu in KanifingMunicipality of the Republic of The Gambia with intent to intimidate, annoy or insult and threatened to kill Omar Jabbie, Mustapha Kanuteh and Yaya Colley with a cutlass.
