Africell Gambia Limited yesterday, 31st July 2023, certified twelve (12) of its staff who recently graduated from a trainingcourse on digital marketing, which was initiated by Africell to expand the digital knowledge of its staff.
The certification ceremony held at the Africell head office along Kairaba Avenue was witnessed by the Chief Executive Officer of Africell among other staff and partners of Africell.
Speaking at the event the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Africell Mr. Hussein Diab said, every person that took part in this course come out with a specific talent in their specific domain, but the most important part of it is the message that has been passed on which is self-improvement.
“Every single person in this room no matter how successful you are in each of your domains you have reached out to us by giving out this course, change can embrace the world and the only way to change the world is to change ourselves and I am proud seeing people changing themselves by learning,” he expressed his mind.
Mr. Hussein expressed delight saying he is very proud of the Africell new grandaunts from the Digital Marketing course, saying the lessons learned from the course they went through will help them to expand their social media followers and give them a bigger platform to showcase themselves.
Ronald Sengore, Africell Communication, and Marketing Manager also said to set a goal that will be realistic and timely and try to know their strengths, opportunities, and weaknesses.
Mr. Senghore added that Africell as a company is very proud as a company that is changing lives, saying some of the AfricellStaff that went through this course might want to take digital marketing as a course to make earning for themselves and broaden their knowledge in the field.
“The internet is very broad and we can make a lot from it, but no one owns it, it has a tough course getting up every evening to go for online classes at Africell Learning Center but today is a payoff day that this training can change your life and change our life,” he said.
Speaking on behalf of the Africell staff that went through this course, Ya Sally Njie, thanked Africell on behalf of the Digital Marketing Call 2023, for the opportunity given to them even though it was not an easy three (3) months course.
“We all enjoyed doing the course and we appreciate it, and me as someone who always have a passion for technological-related fields since childhood, Africell giving me this opportunity is a great chance for me,” she stated.
