AKI: Ministry of Health recorded 1 New Case

The Ministry of Health in its latest situational report released on the 25th of January 2023, one Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) new case has been recorded. 39 suspected cases, 6 probable cases, confirmed cases 83 (CFR=85%) discharged case 12.

The report stated that the Age bracket of 1 to 7, 50 males, 33 females, and the total death stand at 71. 

On the Key Message, the Ministry advised citizens to take sick children to the nearest health facility. Adding Caregivers should only give medicines to children on the advice of a health worker.
