Ebou Mala Children Charity Foundation (EMCCF), on Friday, donated items to the Tallinding South Ward Committee.
The presentation which was held at the office of the Councilor is said to be distributed to communities and institutions across the country. These items include shoes, Chairs, Clothes, and other viable items.
Speaking at the presentation, Ismail Drammeh, Committee Service Field Officer, said the organization was founded in the United Kingdom with the main objective to help needy people, families, and institutions in the Gambia.
He noted that the items would be given to schools, hospitals, the Gambia Fire Rescue Services, and other institutions to complement them in their work.
Ismaila Bah the representative of EMCCF in the United Kingdom said they will observe whether the said items are going to be well utilised with great care while assuring the beneficiaries of their continuous support.
Amata Janha, Assistant Chief Fire Officer spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries and spoke highly of the association for their timely intervention.
“These items have an important role to play because with these items, you are safe and you can operate your service properly because without proper equipment it will affect our performance,” she said.
