Brikama Sports Committee has slated their knockout Nawettan opening games on Tuesday,the 1st November 2022 where two games will be played at the Brikama Box-Bar Mini Stadium.
According to Ebrima KB. Sonko,the Public Relation Officer of Brikama Sports Committee revealed that 32 teams that were registered in the Brikama Sports main Nawettan will compete in the knockout . He added that it is a tradition in the Brikama Sports Committee to start the knockout Nawettan after the end of the group stage of the league.
“I am urging fans and sports lovers to uphold the principles of fair play and we should understand that the referees are human beings who are bound to make mistakes . However, these human errors can be mitigated by inviting referees from the Gambia Football Federation,”he noted.
In the opening games on Tuesday the 1st November 2022 Yarambamba United will battle it out with Gidda United at 2:45pm while Dasilameh United will play against Shallote, on Wednesday 2nd November 2022 Berewuleng United will play against Chimo United at 2:45 while Real Da Santos will play against Swansea United at 4:45 pm and on Thursday the 3rd November 2022 NewTown Youth United will battle it out with Sky Power at 2:45 pm while Manduar United will play against Scovill United at 4:45 pm.
Meanwhile , on Friday 4th November 2022 Kutajonbul United will battle it out with Daru United at 2:45 pm while Nema United will play against Puntalana United at 4:45pm , on Saturday the 5th November 2022 Jaliba United will play battle it out with Citizen United at 2:45pm while Santo-Su United will play against Sanchaba United.On Sunday, the 6th November 2022 Brikama will battle it out for the Super Regional Zonal trophy against Gunjur at 4:45 at Brikama Box-Bar football field.
