The Bakau Sports Committee (BSC) has intensified their 2022 Nawettan tournament season after finishing their first-round fixtures on Saturday 24 September 2022.
Bakau which is one of the biggest zones in the country started their nawettan competition on Tuesday 13 September 2022 with a game played at the Bakau Football field
Fajara South opened the Bakau Nawettan tournament with a 1-0 defeat over Bremen FC, played on Tuesday 13th September 2022.
Julangel drew goalless against Luniburg FC played on Wednesday 14th September 2022.
Kansala FC beat Birmingham 3-2 in a game played on Thursday 15th September 2022.
Five Junction and Junior Arms match was cancelled due to some issues on Friday 16th September 2022.
Jumbee FC and Run Mango played a goalless draw in a game played earlier on Saturday 17th September 2022.
Fajara Barracks were defeated 2-0 by Prime FC in the later game played on Saturday 17th September
Vidar FC thrashed Mamakoto 4-0 in the earlier game played on Sunday 18th September 2022.
Bantankoto FC were held to a 2-2 draw against Samtom Academy during the late match played on Sunday 18th September 2022.
Farokono and Six and One FC also played 1-1 draw during a game played on Tuesday 20th September 2022.
Katchikally FC were held to a 4-4 draw against Fajara M Section during a game played on Wednesday 21st September 2022.
Ousman Saine and Mohammed Konateh scored for Katchikally FC. Striker Ousman Saine scored a hattrick for the Kachikally-based team.
Musa Sanyang, Ebrima Manga and Omar Njie scored for Fajara M Section. With Ebrima Manga scoring a brace.
Dwaynamics also played a 1-1 draw against Apex in a game played on Thursday 22nd September 2022.
Babucarr Sowe scored for Dwaynamics, while Mass Jobe levelled for Apex FC.
Fajara United defeated Late F2 Drammeh 2-1 in a game played on Friday 23rd September 2022.
Alpha Omar Bah and Muhammed B. Jammeh scored for Fajara United, while Ali Touray scored for Late F2 Drammeh FC.
Zuwa FC were defeated 2-1 by Kolonding FC during the earlier game played on Saturday 24th September 2022.
Ngarey Kanteh and Yankuba Sillah scored for Kolonding FC, before Modou Sanneh scored the only goal for Zuwa FC.
Linguere FC beat Senior Lions 2-0 during the late encounter played on Saturday 24th September 2022.
Yahya Jammeh opened the scoring for Linguere FC, before Bubacarr Saho doubled their lead in the second period.
At the time of going to press yesterday, Birmingham and Bremen were opening the Bakau Nawettan second round fixture in the earlier game, before Kansala FC entertained Fajara South in the later game.
Meanwhile, both Birmingham and Bremen lost their opening game against Kansala and Fajara South.
And in the second encounter both Kansala and Fajara South won their opening game of the Bakau Nawettan.
