Greater Tomorrow records 16th win in GFF 2nd tier league

Greater Tomorrow FC has recorded their fourth victory of the season after defeating Wagadu 2-1 during their week-28 fixture of the GFF 2nd division league played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum on Wednesday.

This is the sixteenth defeat of the season for the debutant side Wagadu FC.

The West Coast Region-based team Greater Tomorrow overall collected 16 wins, 4 draws, and 8 defeats after 28 matches, while the Upper River Region-based team Wagadu overall collected 5 victories, 8 draws, and 15 losses after 28 games.

The victory moved Greater Tomorrow to the top of the table with 52 points, while the defeat maintained Wagadu at the rock bottom (18th) position with 23 points after 28 games.

At the time of going to press yesterday, on Thursday, four games were playing at two different venues.

B4U Kiang West was taking on Jam City at the Soma Mini-Stadium; Waterside was playing against Medical; Bombada was entertaining PSV Wellingara before BK Milan battled it out with Latrikunda United with those three games played at the Independence Stadium.
