Foday Trawally moves to Tallinn Kalev on-loan

Gambian international player Foday Trawally has joined Estonian topflight side, Tallinna Kalev on loan from Paide Linnameeskond.

The 20-year-old signed a one-year loan deal at Tallinna Kalev in search of better playing time ahead of the new Estonia Meistriliiga.

Trawally, who joined Paide last summer, featured in six games in the Estonia Meistriliiga last season (starting five of them), scoring one goal and assisting one.

He scored four goals in nine matches for the Paide U-19 Eliitliiga Meistriliiga.

Foday Trawally is younger brother to Scorpions attacker, Bubacarr ‘Steve’ Trawally, who plays for Ajman Club in the Arabian Gulf League.

Bundung-born player, Foday Trawally extended his contract with Paide for two years.

Gert Kams, Sports Director of Paide stated that Foday Trawally has reached a stage in his football career where he needs good playing time in the Meistriliiga, noting that together with the player and his representatives, they found that Tallinna Kalev is the best opportunity for that at the moment.

“Personally, I hope that Foday will be able to show high quality and take the next step in his career both sportingly and contribute to the achievement of Tallinn Kalev’s sporting goals, “said Gert Kams, Sports Director of Paide, on the club’s Facebook page.

Meanwhile, Paide Linnameeskond strengthened their team earlier by securing the services of three new Gambian players in the name of goalkeeper Ebrima Jarju and winger Ebrima Singhateh and Bubacarr Tambedou from Real de Banjul.
