Honorable Hamat Bah, Minister of Tourism and Culture has warned Gambians against voting for Lawyer Ousainou Darboe, presidential aspirant for the UDP saying he cannot govern his party talk less of the country.

Speaking at a rally, he said: “’If you are unable to manage a party how can you manage a nation, someone who don’t know what his party NAMs are doing at parliament how will that person manage a country? It has manifested that he has no concern for our nation and I want to warn Gambians to be careful not to make a mistake of voting somebody who cannot manage a party much more a nation.”

“Ousainou Darboe has demonstrated his failure in leadership, he cannot even govern his political party,” adding that how many UDP NAMs are at the parliament who approved the bill, that is a clear message that Mr. Darboe is not in control of the party because his UDP NAMs approved the budget it shows that he has less control of his party.

“Darboe talked about president Barrow’s policy, he criticized the approved budget appropriation act of 1st of January to 31st December 2022, in his audio Darboe said: President Barrow has no interest in developing or moving this country forward because president Barrow has nothing for agriculture because he allocated just D4million to that sector which is Ousainou Darboe’s way of propaganda,” he added.

“We now know who Ousainou Darboe is more than we knew him to be before, his audios has exposed that he is always interested in presidency and nothing else. I don’t mind the insults going around that is a norm in UDP they are known to be abusers and insulters in the history of Gambian politics the fact of the matter is that on the 4th of December let Gambians vote massively for Barrow to come out with an outstanding result that is the kind of defeat we do for a party leader whose party is establish just to use people to insult people,” he encouraged the electorates.
