By Mustapha Jarju

Dozens of youths have been trained on extracurricular, career development and technique at an organised training held at the National Youth Council office in Kanifing.

Speaking at the opening of the event, the Executive Director of the National Youth Council, Alagi Jarju said, they want to provide opportunity for young people so that they can grow with their techniques as they all have potential.

“The problem always knows that actually we have this potential” he said,

According to him academic is very important but extracurricular will give you those skills to apply which the classroom cannot provide to endeavour you partake.

Gibril Jarjue, a trainer at the event said they organize such kind of training for the youth who are dropped out of school and as well as those who are looking for job opportunities.

He added that their focus is more of business consultancy and this year  in August they have seen people coming to offices looking for job because of the success of the trainings they went through, and the impact is coming a bit viral to the people because of the success from those trainings they provide.
