SSHFC Signs Bus Procurement Deal With Quantum Espace Motore

Following a public bid for procurement, the Quantum-Espace Motors was awarded the contract after meeting all requirements for the purchase of buses and other transport equipment for the social security and housing finance cooperation.

The signing ceremony attended by the managing director of Social Security & Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC)  who is also the board chair of the Transport Service Company, the Chief Executive Officer of Quantum-Espace Motors and other officials of the Transport Service is the first of its kind aimed at minimizing transport challenges in urban areas.

Seedy Kanyi, the General Manager of GTSC thanked Quantum-Espace Motors for the award and expressed hope that the agreement will address urban transport challenges.

Muhammed Jah, the CEO of Quantum-Espace Motors commended the GTSC and SSHFC for forging such a collaborative partnership, he hopes will address the country’s long decades of transport difficulties. Inner city Travelling is a nightmare in the Gambia, especially for those travelling long distances daily with drivers charging double fares in every precinct. The signing of this new agreement along proper transport rules and procurement procedures could significantly ease travelling in inner city areas.
