In the ongoing murder case involves Alpha Jallow Alias More Fire, John Dallia, Solomon Mendy Alias Skepta ,Yahya Mboge, Baboucarr Jah and Gibrail Mbowe the PW5 has confirmed been part of the people that investigated the case.
Giving his testimony on Monday, 5th July, Before the Justice Alexander Osei Tutu of the Kanifing High Court, Abdoullahi Bah (PW5) said they received information that the first and second accused persons had flew.
He continued in his testimony that the accused persons used a small green vehicle registered for private purpose according to the plate number and it was said that it belong to the sister of the sixth accused person.
In the early hours of the following day of the incident, the PW5 stated, they arrested the first accused person in the evening. He disclosed that some boys, whose names not mentioned in the court, jointly assaulted the deceased – Alagie Bojang, as they were helping their friend who was fighting the diseased, while the first accused person stabbed the diseased to death.
The witness said “I can remember Abdou Salam who lodged the complaint, Jagana Muhammed was friend to the disease and it was not an allegation because they are eye witnesses.”
Abdoullahi Bah went further in his testimony saying the case required (more) investigations as there are processes involve. Answering question before the Judge, he said they did (investigations) but there still important to do more.
He told the court that he cannot remember the time of the incident but said it was at night ‘around 9pm.” According to information given them, he said, the first and the second accused persons’ names were mentioned in the fight.
Meanwhile, the witness confirmed that it is one scissor they recovered on following day inside the house of the second accused person and they confronted them with the scissor but they said they have no idea about it.
The witness stated that he is not aware if the scissor is examine saying he’s not aware of any further examination and “I cannot tell whose last finger print was on the scissor.”
However, it could recalled that the named accused persons were charged for murder and according to narration of their offence, Alpha Jallow, John Dallia, Solomon Mendy, Yaya Mboge and Baboucarr Jah on or about the 6th day of October 2019 at Bakoteh Housing Estate Kanifing Municipality unlawfully caused the death of Alagie Bojang by stabbing and beating him thereby committed an offence. The particular of their offence further stated that the accused peoples – Alpha Jallow , John Dallia , Solomon Mendy , Yaya Mboge and Baboucarr Jah on the said date agreed among themselves to kill one Alagie Bojang by stabbing and beating him thereby committed an offence.
The judge said the court over rule objection raise by the council for the accuse persons in spite tending the accused persons voluntary and cessionary statement which the prosecution said the fifth witness sought to tender evidence for the main trial to resume .
On count three of the statement and particulars of their offence stated that Gibril Mboge on or about the 6th day of October ,2019 at Bakoteh housing Estate kanifing Municipality assisted one Alpha Jallow and John Dallia to evade arrest and criminal punishment knowing that they killed one Alagie Bojang thereby committed an offence
However, the case is adjourned to 12 of July 2021.
