The Gambia’s ministry of health said there is no person in quarantine but added that there are five active cases of coronavirus.

No new COVID-19 related death recorded and no new case of COVID-19 recorded, the ministry said.

“The country currently has no person in quarantine, 5 active cases and a crude case-fatality ratio of 3.3%. 2 COVID-19 patients in home-isolation newly recovered and got discharged.”

A presentation led by consultants from Public Health England culminated in the formation of a team that is to come up with a COVID19 testing strategy document within a week.
