Banjul Breweries Ltd, Gambia’s only brewery and producers of Julbrew beer and non-alcoholic drinks, is in the process of winding up operations as a result of low income despite reduced of excise tax by government last year, The Voice can report.
According to reliable sources, workers were informed by management decision to shut down the company lay off staff on Friday and management will be holding general meeting today Monday.
