Mariama B. Secka, deputy party leader of the United Democratic Party (UDP) has stressed that UDP empowered President Adama Barrow and the party can also end his government whether three or five years.
“We empowered President Barrow and we can as well end his government whether three or five years,” she said during political rally organized by their party militants in Bakau on Sunday, October 27th 2019.
Widely called Aji Yam Secka, she stressed that the same UDP that put President Adama Barrow’s in power in 2017 can also end government whether his .
“Adama Barrow! Adama Barrow! Adama Barrow! How many times did I call you? Your time is up. UDP will go, we will go, we will go, we will go all the way to the State House”.
She urged Gambian women to rally behind their leader Ousainou Darboe to get to the State House in 2021presidential elections so that he can address the factors hindering their progress ‘such as lack of good gardens and modern storage facilities’
She commended the party leader on behalf of the Gambian women for the way he empowered them over the years.
