President Adama Barrow, has counseled the people of Lower River Region to ignore his political detractors, who are bent on trafficking lying against his presidency.
On Saturday, hundered of people from Jarra and Kiang Lower River Region (LRR) visited the State House to rally their support behind President Barrow.
Barrow told Jarranka, and Kianganka , that his government’s developmental priorities target is Jarra and Kiang, while he assured deliver his promises to the people of Jarra and Kiang in the Lower River Region in due course.
Barrow described Saturday’s State House visit as clear testament that peoples Jarra and Kiang in LRR, were behind him, as he glare at lies and cheap propaganda by his opponents that the people of LRR had turned their back at him (Barrow).
Barrow stated that leaders of political parties-be it UDP, GDC or any other political party, can claim to be leading such parties, but the leaders concerned, should also bear in mind that they do not own the people supporting their respective parties.
He told the gathering that the people of Jarra and Kiang in LRR are victims of lies and smear campaign, noting that it was once claimed by his opponents that the people of Jarra and Kiang, were opposed to his government.
He further said at one time he (Barrow) send out vehicles to the communities concerned to pick people up to come to the State House, but they refused.
Mr. Barrow thanked the delegation from Jarra and Kiang in LRR for rallying support behind his Presidency. He also thanked the team heading his political operations in the country.
