Chinese Community in Basse celebrates New Year today
The Chinese Community in Basse, Upper River Region of The Gambia will today celebrates their New Year day at a ceremony which is to be held at their Camp in Basse Mansajang Kunda on 5th February, 2019.
The celebration will take the form of a two- hour party after which the workers will go back to their normal road construction work. The Chinese Aid- Projects are in the region to construct road and bridges on the Basse – Fatoto Road.
The community of Basse and the surrounding villages are happy with the people of the Sister Republic of China who are currently building roads and bridges within the region.
