Royal Messenger is Spreading Message of Hope in Senegal

Royal Messenjah, Gambia’s Reggae dancehall artiste is set to embark on a tour in Cassamance Southern Senegal with his latest album “Better Days” during the weekend.

He will perform at Shashamani in Djannah on 25 January, 2019 and on 26 January, 2019 at Freedom Sounds Night Club in Abene to be back by live band performances with Holy Family Band.

“Better Days”, the fourteen track project which is produced by House of Production and sponsored by Absolute Entertainment carries messages of hope, inspiration, and motivation to promote better levity and a better people. He is about to embark on a tour of Southern Senegal during the weekend

The melodious singer has enjoyed a wonderful reputation across the region and is looking forward to amaze his fans once again with a series of performances. Speaking to the press earlier Wednesday morning, Royal expressed optimism and confidence ahead of the tour.

He emphasised the importance of the tour and promised to rise to the bait as he is one of the most respected Gambian artist in Cassamance.

“The spirit is high right now as we are about to set off for the tour. This is reggae music, it should go viral and we are reaching out to fans in yard and abroad. We giving them live music with Holy Family Band, the real vibes with real feelings”.

He emphasised. On whether he has any plan of moving beyond Southern Senegal. The Messenjah replied. “We trying to spread the vibes and love across the continent. We will have a show in Dakar and we are working on plans to perform in Guinea Conakry and Zimbabwe to empower and inspire the people of our beloved continent”. He concluded.

Ali Gaye alias Royal Messenjah is the most relevant reggae artist in The Gambia right now. His songs have over the years enjoyed a good airtime on local radios.

He won the heart of fans and music lovers with his powerful lyrics, irresistible melodies and his humble personality. His latest album “Better Days” is arguably the best Gambian album of 2018 in terms of quality and substance and nominated as best album in Wah Sa Halat Awards.
