The second round of the 2026 National Volleyball League opened with a series of competitive fixtures as teams resumed their campaigns in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
In the men’s competition, OlympSK/East defeated Prison 3-0 in straight sets, while Police also recorded a 3-0 victory over Waa Banjul.
The closest contest of the day saw Brikama overcome Hamza 3-2 in a five-set encounter after a closely fought match.
In the women’s division, Prison defeated OlympSK/East 3-2 in the day’s only five-set match.
Brikama maintained their strong form with a 3-0 victory over Hamza, while Police secured another straight-sets win, defeating Waa Banjul 3-0.
The latest round of matches marked the start of the league’s second round as clubs continue to compete for points in the race for the championship and playoff places.
