Gambian striker Saikou Ceesay scored a hat-trick on Saturday as Manila Digger FC secured a convincing 4-1 away victory over Kasuka FC of Brunei in the second leg of the ASEAN Club Championship.
Ceesay opened the scoring in the third minute before doubling Manila Digger’s lead in the 11th minute.
He completed his hat-trick in the 57th minute, putting the visitors firmly in control of the match.
Charles Dabao added Manila Digger’s fourth goal in the 70th minute to complete a dominant away performance.
The hat-trick adds to Ceesay’s impressive record since joining Manila Digger in 2024, where he has established himself as an important attacking player.
The Gambian forward has also enjoyed a productive spell in the Philippines Football League, producing several multi-goal performances and continuing to demonstrate his goalscoring ability.
