Gambian forward Ebrima Singhateh is close to completing a permanent transfer to Czech top-flight side AC Sparta Praha from FK Jablonec after agreeing personal terms with the club.
Negotiations between AC Sparta Praha and FK Jablonec are reported to be progressing positively, with both clubs nearing a final agreement for the 22-year-old attacker.
Singhateh has attracted attention following his performances in the Czech First League, with his displays reportedly convincing Sparta Praha to pursue a permanent deal.
He joined FK Jablonec in February 2026 from MFK Karviná, where he had established himself as one of the promising young Gambian players in Czech football.
Despite his short spell at Jablonec, his performances have accelerated interest from one of the Czech Republic’s most successful clubs.
A move to AC Sparta Praha would represent a major step in his career, offering the forward the opportunity to compete for domestic titles and potentially feature in European competitions.
If completed, the transfer would add to the growing number of Gambian footballers making an impact in European leagues.
