Unique Global FC secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Menmar Banjul United in the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Men’s Division Two at Kabekel on Tuesday.
Ousman Jammeh opened the scoring with a brace, while substitute Muhammed Kassama added the third goal to seal the win on the opponent’s turf.
In other matches, AJ Soccer edged newcomers Suwo Kono 1-0 in a derby at Jarra Soma. Colley Stars also recorded a narrow 1-0 win against Serekunda FC at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum.
North Stars FC defeated Gambia Armed Forces 2-0 at Brikama Boxba Mini Stadium. Alieu Demba and Lamin Badjie scored for the North Bank team, helping them move into the top five after four matches.
At the lower end of the table, RS Tallinding, Marimoo Pakfood, and Gunjur United remain in the relegation zone.
