Gambian referee Abdallah L. Jammeh has been selected as a match official for the upcoming U-17 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco.
His selection reflects the growing recognition of Gambian refereeing within African football, as well as his consistency and professionalism.
Ahead of the tournament, Jammeh is expected to participate in a one-week preparatory course organised to equip match officials with updated guidelines, fitness requirements and match management techniques.
The programme aims to ensure that all selected referees are adequately prepared to officiate at the competition.
