TMT Ladies secured a narrow victory over Koita FC with a late goal in their Week 10 clash of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s Division One played in Bakau.
The closely contested encounter saw both sides display strong defensive organization, limiting clear scoring opportunities throughout the match.
With the game seemingly heading for a draw, Fotou Sonko struck late to give TMT Ladies the decisive goal and secure all three points for her side.
The goal proved enough to separate the two teams after an evenly fought contest, as TMT Ladies maintained pressure in the closing stages of the match.
Koita FC, despite a determined performance, were unable to capitalize on their chances and finished the match without finding the back of the net.
