Modou Mustapha Jallow, alias “Jamaica,” on Friday 25th of July 2025, was arrested by The Gambia Police Force in a footage report, in connection with a burglary at the National Audit Office in Banjul.
CCTV footage reportedly captured two unidentified individuals entering the building and leaving with the stolen items. “As part of the ongoing investigation, several suspects were arrested for questioning,” the police stated.
D351,000{Three hundred and fifty-one thousand Dalasis} is the total cost of the goods and items unlawfully taken from the ICT Support Office.
Modou Mustapha Jallow, when interrogated confessed to stealing and has disposed of the items at the Serrekunda black market.
