Alleged Kush Traffickers Pleaded Not Guilty

Three alleged traffickers of ‘Kush’, a zombie drug, Wednesday denied possession of 55 grams and 570 milligrams of the said drug when they appeared before a Magistrate Court in Banjul.

The suspects, Oumie Jobe, Musa Nyang and Alieu Bah denied any wrongdoing when they appeared before Principal Magistrate Muhammed Krubally.

However, one of the suspects, Emmanuel Koromaacknowledged being in possession of 55kg and 570mg but prosecutors objected to his bail but did not object to the bail of the accused persons who pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The presiding Magistrate Krubally granted bail to Jobe, Nyang and Bah in the sum of D100,000 each with a Gambian surety, while he ordered for the remand of the 3rd suspect, Emmanuel Koroma before adjourning the matter to March 27.
