Magistrate Krubally Orders Freezing of Phillippino’sBinance Account

The Principal Magistrate of the Banjul Magistrates’ Court,Muhammed Krubally, last Thursday issued an order for the freezing of the Binance Wallet account of a Philippino nationalfollowing his disappearance from the jurisdiction as he was being tried over a charge of theft.

The Binance account has 10,000 dollars in it, the state prosecutor Corporal 5309 F.F Kujabi told the court last week.

According to court records, the Philippino Arjae Bryan Dy Co sometime in August of this year in Banjul and diverse places inThe Gambia, stole D3M from various persons and deposited it to Binance Wallet.

The order for the freezing of his Binance account in the Philippines was issued after prosecutor Kujabi applied to the court for the involvement of Interpol to close the account.

The prosecutor also made an application for the transfer of the victims’ funds to The Gambia as well as the issuance of a bench warrant for the arrest of Co in the Philippines. 

Principal magistrate Krubally granted the applications and, therefore, ordered that Arjae’s Binance Wallet account be frozen. 

He also ordered that the copies of the transfer of Arjae’s BinanceWallet account to the victims’ accounts be copied to the court.
