Hon Kebba Toumanding Sanneh, National Assembly Member for Foni Jarrol Constituency has accused the leaders of coalition leaders of signing the deportation agreement, fisheries, electricity energy, and security package of ECOMIG, saying these messed up the country.

In an interview with Hon Sanneh, he said “The coalition agreements have totally messed up this country, claiming that the West is intelligent and they know that if they allow this government to settle down, they (west) might go down.

“They knew that they (the coalition leaders) were hungry for money that is why they put the money and papers on the table and told them to sign with policies that came within the 5 years. When the coalition leaders signed the agreements with the EU, they were even given over 100 million for deportation.”

In his opinion, he narrated that the European Union guide came out to say what they have given to the Coalition leaders within 5 years is the entirety of Yahya Jammeh’s 22 years of rule.

He narrated further that the coalition’s only agenda was how to remove Yahya Jammeh but they have no plan in place to work together to benefit the people of this country.

According to him, the coalition leaders signed the agreement on deportation because it was pressure on them, explaining that the West did it to Jammeh but Jammeh turned the offer down and told them to take their chicken change because he is not going to sign anything that will hurt his people and that he doesn’t even know how these people were taken to Europe.

However, Hon Sanneh further said all the agreements were doneby the coalition, and all the agreements were signed for over 20 years, hence none of the signatures is below 20 years. With this, he said they sold the country.

Now, he said, people have started to feel the impact, “they are confused and blaming the honorable members who have less than a year in parliament.”

“I am worried about this country, at the moment the challenges that the country has is the economy and the issue of deportation hence the youths are suffering and the government is not doing enough and these are people who are contributing to the economy of the country,”

He reiterated that the coalition has messed up this country because most of these agreements were done within 2017-2019 “because the fisheries agreement is not done now, and was signed before they come into office.”

“We cannot blame Barrow today because he is the only person that left here but all these agreements were signed by the coalition leaders,” he stressed.
