In a Banjul derby Banjul United was defeated by city rival Waa Banjul 1-0 marking the second successive defeat for Banjul United in the 2023of the GFF Male League Division One Baluwo Official Partner at the Banjul Mini Stadium on Saturday.
Youngster Momodou Salieu Jallow scored the only goal of the game for Waa Banjul from the penalty spot in the 28th minute following Banjul United’s defender Modou Njie getting off the ball in the hands.
