Janta Bii and Ruha Gii FC have both made a good start in the Serrekunda West Nawettan season following their victories in their opening games against Gintos and Erinjang FC respectively.
Janta Bii beat Gintos 1-0 in the opening game of the Serrekunda West 2022/2023 Nawettan season played on Tuesday.
Alieu Naban scored the only goal in the game for the Bundung-based team, Janta Bii
Madac FC were held to a goalless draw against Old Hands FC during the late encounter played on Tuesday.
Madac who were favourites to defeat the Old Hands team were given a difficult test by the experienced Serrekunda West Old Hands side.
Elsewhere, Ruha Gii beat Erinjang 1-0 during the earlier game played on Wednesday.
Ebrima Ndow scored the game’s only goal for the London Corner based team Ruha Gii in the 55 minutes of the game.
At the time of going to press yesterday, on Thursday, Babun Fatty were taking on Anfield during the earlier game, before BK Central battled with Jeshwang City in the late encounter.
