Brikama Senior Secondary School male team won Banjulnding male team 1-0 in a game played at at Barikama, last Thursday
Omar Kujabie scored the only goal for the Brikama based team in the 57 minute of the game, leaving both Banjulinding school fans and management disappointed with the final result.
Elsewhere, the Brikama Senior Secondary School female team drew against their counterpart in Bajulinding School during the second encounter played on the same day.
Both teams played well, creating some goal scoring chances but either of them failed to capitalize on them. Thus forcing the game into a barren goalless draw.
Speaking to Voice Sports Mr. Omar Bah, Coach of Brikama Senior Secondary School teams expressed his joy for collecting the maximum points in the male category, while expressing hope of collecting them maximum points in their next game in the female category.
He also stated that Gambian Coaches should upgrade their knowledge to be well certified in sports for better recommendations.
