Banjulinding Senior Secondary School male and female football teams defeated Jamisa Senior Secondary School male and female football teams in the ongoing Inter-Schools Football Competition played at Banjulinding football field on Tuesday.
Banjulnding school male team defeated Jamisa school male team 1-0 during the earlier game played at the school ground.
Salif Jallow scored the only goal for the Banjulnding Senior Secondary School team in the 45 minute of the game.
Brikama based male team, Jamisa struggled for an equalizer but lost all their chances.
Elsewhere, Banjulinding school female team defeated their counterparts in Jamisa School 2-0 during the late game played at Banjulinding football field.
Sarata Sanneh scored the opening goal for Banjulnding Senior Secondary School in the 40 minute of the game, before Jamisa school defender Edina Mendy scored an own goal for Banjulinding in the 50 minute of the game.
It was said to be a confusing moment for the Jamisa Senior School female team on the football pitch. The final result got both the school fans and the technical team very disappointed.
Jamisa Senior Secondary School female team tried to score an equalizing goal but lost their chances .The game ended in favor of Banjulnding Senior Secondary School female team 2-0.
