The Executive Secretary of the Gambia Bankers Association (GBA), Mr Alhagi Jeng, has disclosed that Saturday, 25th June 2022, is set for Bankers Award Night and will also mark the 20 years of existence of GBA.
According to the executive secretary, this is the 5th annual Bankers Award Night celebration which will also mark their 20 years of existence as a registered professional Association. The celebration will be held on Saturday 25th June 2022 at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference in Bijilo at 7 pm.
He added that the occasion serves as a forum that brings together all the stakeholders within the banking sectors, Government and other financial institutions and the general public in the Gambia to interact, informally and to be informed about the modest achievement of the GBA and the institute of Bankers of the Gambia. During the celebration, we will award the founding members of the association the past presidents and the vice president of the association employee of the year in each bank.
