Stakeholders of the Paralympic sport in The Gambia have re-elected their six-man executive The Gambia National Paralympic committee under the leadership of Mr Sulayman Colley unopposed during a congress held at the NANA Conference Hall in Kanifing on Saturday.
Members affiliated to the association scrutinized and debated the reports of the President, Secretary General and the treasurer’s financial statements respectively.
There was no election as members recommended and endorsed the present Executive/Board to continue for another term by virtue of their commitment and efficiency.
The President of the International Paralympic Committee, Mr. Andrew Persons who joined the Congress through zoom call, reassured the GNPC of his Committee’s support to develop Para Sports in The Gambia.
He also applauded the athletes for their dedication and performances in the International Championship.
New Executive are:
Sulayman Colley- President
Sainey Colley- Vice President
Sainey Camara- Secretary General
Lamin Darboe- Treasurer
Abdoulie Danso- Auditor
Hagie Drammeh- PRO/ Media Officer
