Former Minister of Interior bids farewell to staff and Service Chiefs

The outgoing Minister of Interior, Honourable Yankuba JN Sonko yesterday bade farewell to the entire staff of the Ministry and Service Chiefs of line security Institutions.

During the ceremony, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mr. Abdoulie TB Jarra, who chaired the session thanked the Former Minister for all his support, commitment, dedication and hard work during the time of his tenure as the Minister.

The Senior Management, Service Chiefs and the staff of the Ministry all expressed their sincere gratitude to the Former Minister for his exceptional leadership.

They described him as a charismatic leader who does not relent in his efforts to ensure works are done to perfection and the Ministry’s agenda is moved. He always motivates and work collectively with every member of staff. The Former Minister was thanked for his guidance throughout the course of his tenure.

The outgoing Minister of Interior, Mr. Yankuba Sonko thanked the entire staff for their support and cooperation during the course of his time as the Minister. Equally he called on staff of the Ministry to welcome and show their cooperation and support to the newly appointed Minister, Honourable Siaka Sonko on resuming his responsibility.
