Alasana Manneh scores 1st Ekstraklasa goal for Gornik

Gambian International attacker Alasana Manneh has scored his first Poland First Division League (Ekstraklasa) goal during his side  Górnik Zabrze 3-2 away win over Wisla Plock in their week-27 fixture played at the Kazimeirza Gorkiego Stadion on Monday.

The 23-year-old midfielder scored his side’s first goal after 71st minute of the game, just after they were 3-0 down.

The former Barcelona youth player who was excluded in the Scorpions Afcon team in Cameroon has now scored his first goal for his Polish side after 24 appearances.

Alasana and his side Gornik Zabrze dropped to 8th position with 37 points, while Wisla Plock moved to 6th position with 39th points after 27 games.

‘Moro’ as he fondly called moved to Polish topflight side Górnik Zabrze after leaving Barcelona B side in 2019.

He was previously loaned to Sabadell in the Spanish Division B side in August 2017.

He was also loaned to Bulgarian side Etar Veliko Tarnovo on January 23rd 2018.
