CA candidate promises to commit 10% of his salary to development of Lower Niumi

In North Bank, Alpha MK Lowe, Citizens’ Alliance parliamentary candidate for Lower Niumi District, has promised to establish a Lower Niumi Development Fund where he will commit 10 per cent of his monthly salary to its growth.

“This Lower Niumi Development Fund, I will commit 10-15% of my salary into that fund. The account will be managed by individuals identified by the people of Lower Niumi. I may not even be a signatory to that account,” he promised.

According to him, the account this development fund will be meant for bringing clean drinking water to the community of Lower Niumi for residents to benefit. He reiterated that the fund will also use to help students who have competed grade 12th and posses the university requirements but cannot afford the financial requirements.

“I worked at the University of The Gambia, and it’s always sad to see people with less privileged getting admission into higher learning institutions but cannot pay their tuition fees,” he stated.

“It is disheartening going around Lower Niumi and see people still fetching waters from open and unhygienic well,” he empahsised.

Mr Love disclosed to his followers that he has the pedigree, academic qualifications, and experience to enable him deliver as expected of him.

Noting “once I’m elected I will be able to deliver the good things which that I have in plan for the people of Lower Niumi.”
