NUP leader promises to address country’s domestic problems

Abdoulie Ebrima Jammeh, leader of the National Unity Party has promised to address Gambians needs and solve the country’s domestic problems if he is elected in office come December.

Speaking at during  a campaign held in Sutukoba, Jammeh said: “I believe that anyone that is involved in looking for the presidency in this country loves this country and we have to avoid one thing that is the mentality that we have to take this country forward so you people should observe based on the plans that we put in place to rule this country.

“Various reasons in the manifestos are what make us different from one another but yet we all love this country. So the relationship that is here should be continued because politics will end but humanity is what will stay forever. The plans that national unity party has on its agenda is best for the country and will take the country forward,” he stated.

“In our manifesto we look into agriculture knowing that the Gambia benefits from only one term session they will put in mechanisms to ensure that there are farming after raining season through the provision of another form of water which he said could be done through the river Gambia. Allah bless the Gambia with a river which is called river Gambia and we all know that the water in river Gambia if there where machines that are used to supply our farmlands, we would all see that farming will be done throughout the year,” he informed the followers.

According to him, each village in the country there are more than hundred needs to be solved, adding hospital should also have doctors and nurses.

“In our manifesto we said in this recent generation there should not be any place in the Gambia that should face water problem, everyone should have access to water in this country,” Jammeh said.
