Witness testifies on Babucarr Drammeh’s Murder Case

As the murder case of Babucarr Drammeh continued at the Kanifing Annex High Court presiding over by Judge Alexander Oseis Tutu, Foday Jammeh, a witness took his time to testify Monday 15th November, 2021 before the before the court.

In his testimony, Foday  Jammeh said on the day of the incident, he and his brothers were cleaning the farm but they also hired someone who has a caterpillar to help them clean the area.

He said he didn’t know the accused person before the incident but said five of the accused persons were the one who attacked them and they were having cutlasses, knives and sticks and among the five accused Babucarr Jammeh was the one having a gun.

He stated that the attacked took place in the morning and the accused persons met them cleaning the farm. He stated that it was when the accused persons arrived they were having weapons and as they reached them they started beating them and forcing them to leave the area.

However, the accused persons are answerable to seven counts of offence which included murder, unlawfully caused the death of Ebrima Darboe; unlawfully attempted to cause the death of Ebrima Colley by aiming and shooting at him with a gun; causing bodily harm and among others.

The names of the accused persons are Bubacarr Drammeh; Mamadi Ceesay; Muhamed Mbye; Abdoulie Sanyang; Adama Bojang; Wuyeh Sanyang and others at large.
