GDC advises electorates against re-electing Barrow

By Adama Makasuba

Honorable Mamma Kandeh, leader and presidential candidate for Gambia Democratic Congress in the upcoming December 4 poll has advised electorates against re-electing President Adama Barrow into power in the next December presidential election.

Speaking at Ndugu Kebbeh village, he blamed the Barrow government for failure and urged Gambians to vote in GDC-led alliance into presidency to bring developments.

“Our hospitals are here with no medicine and glove, and it is only in The Gambia hospitals where women share a single bed which has never occurred in anywhere in this world and you want to follow that government. And, any mistake make by the country to re-elect these people anything that happen to us is our own fault and no one should complain, because they have shown us who they are and they are not ready for development,” he added.

“Gambians are suffering and is time to enjoy by voting GDC-APRC-GAP alliance to State House to bring enormous developments. And now, you should know what progress is and since the world is created the type of farming system in Africa is the same system. We will shift to better farming mechanism and ensure we buy your products. There is no hoax in GDC and there is no hoax here and the programmes we have laid down so far are here waiting to see us in State House so that we bring development to you in this country,” he added.

“There is no political party that has done what GDC has done in this country. Despite GDC is yet to be in government and no in charge of State coffers but all what we are doing for this country are coming from our pockets.  Some people will say let me go to him and fool him but no one can fool me because anything I am doing I do it out  from my benevolent gestures and heartfulness for the people and I have a responsibility between me and God, my Lord.

“So, there is no fool game here and there is no fool game in GDC and there is no development we are doing for the people that we will regret tomorrow whether they vote for me or not, I won’t regret. The hoax game is enough and it should end. But the youths should be more aware than anyone else because the future is them,” he stated.
