Former army general and leader of ANRD has urged Gambians to re-elect President Adama Barrow in office on December 4 for the country’s betterment.

Speaking at Farafenni, Lamin Bojang said: “there are 6 nominated political parties, but only one is fit to become the president of The Gambia [and is] Adama Barrow. The reason why ANRD chose NPP to form an alliance is because our alliance came at the right time and we thank God that, ANRD was created for the welfare of the Gambian people.”

According to him, if Gambians want development they must elect Barrow into office, adding he is development oriented.

“That is why ANRD met with the President and he told me Bojang join NPP, trust me and let’s develop the country together it doesn’t matter if you are a Jola or Mandinka and other tribes that do not matter I am only interested in developing the country,” he said.

He said the president rule his party with tradition and relationship it will be hypocritical if he did not

“I urge all Gambians that 4th December to identify and vote for the right candidate, there is a saying in the middle of a battle you cannot change your commander, that’s why what we have seen is enough and after the announcement of the result they will hail we Barrow and it will surely happen,” he campaigned.
