Comedian Kitabou Fatty & Team on Guinea Bissau Tour

Kitabu Fatty, one of the Gambia’s finest Comedian is currently on a  10-days tour of Guinea Bissau performed in different cities across.
Kitabu and his team start their tour on 25th May 2021 various places in Guinea Bissau, including Mansidi, then Bonko, Sunbundo, Tendinto, Galucada, Pacua, Cumtuba, Prian, Francunda, Namataba, Mana-Ida and Bafata.

Fatty, who recently expressed interest to run for the presidency in the forthcoming December presidential elections left the Gambia on Tuesday that he will travel with an entourage of 12 people which includes actors and actresses. He described his Guinea Bissau tour as a great achievement in his career.

“I feel excited because this is the first time a Gambian comedy team are performing in Guinea Bissau and I  has a lot of fans in Guinea Bissau,” he explains.

Fatty stated that he believed that the is  one of the biggest shows they ever performed and equally an experience in their careers.

“It’s a ten days tour but some other places are contacting my management. So I believe we might stay a bit longer than ten days,” he also said.

According to him,  the tour will open doors for other comedians to explore their talents outside the Gambia as their performance will give Bissau Guineans confidence to invite other Gambian comedians as well as strengthen bilateral relations between the peoples of the two countries.

Kitabu further said that the team will return before the conclusion of the general voter registration, saying this year’s elections will be an interesting one as he is confident of winning the elections and bring smiles to people of the Smiling Coast of Africa.

He added that he will bring infrastructural development, empower young people and instill sense of nationalism into people.

“I am well focused because the struggle and hardship the country is facing gives me confidence to strengthen my campaign agenda and policies to be able to convince Gambians to vote for me come December”, he concluded.
