BCC receives 600 facemasks to curb spread of coronavirus

Draman Foundation has donated 500 facemasks to Banjul City Council to complement the council’s effort to suppress the spread of COVID-19 in the city.

Led by the head of the foundation, Madam Touray’s donation comes as the council launched “operation 100k facemasks initiative” for the people of Banjul as well as Gambians.

“As part of our ‘Operation 100K Facemasks Initiative” for the people of Banjul and by extension, The Gambia, “Draman Foundation” under the leadership of Madam Niania Dabo Touray has donated 500 facemasks towards complimenting the efforts of the City Council to suppress the spread of Covid-19 in Banjul, The Gambia,” BCC said in a statement.

In a separate but similar development Isatou Secka of “Secka Unique Glamour” and The Gambia Swimming Association also donated 50 facemasks each towards the same initiative to fight against Covid-19.
