National Association For Early Child Education Gets New President

Nation Association of Early Child Education has selected new president as they geared to kick off Independence celebration for nursery schools.

Speaking at the event Mariama Secka Darboe, new president of the association said:“I feel much honored as a baby sitter for my school for pass 32 years and I think I am selected through my experience and hard work.”

She said as the country celebrate independence on 18 February every year that “In every zone will represent six young children as an imam, president, ambassador, minister and very encouraging because even parents will be happy to see their children dress like a minister.”

As a member of the association since 1992 and now the elected president I will make sure i encourage other school to join the association, she said.

Alhagi Musa Mendy, a member of the association said “the memberships of school now are be young 500 school in the entire country. The cerebration is decentralized as there are lots of schools established in the country adding that it is not only the school within the grater Banjul area but school around also participate.”

According to him, some school attend the cerebration lately which is one of the most challenging they always face, urging school heads to get a very reliable drivers and a good vehicle to make sure that they avoid late coming.
