German-based Gambian company seeks to establish Tech Company

A German-based Gambian company is in planning to extend branch of its technology company to The Gambia. The company named ‘SISASI’ manufactures and sell technology equipment call ‘augmented reality glasses   that helps ease the work load of technicality.

The equipment according to the company, can serve world wide-meaning one can be in contact with someone for explanation and direction through the internet, and one costs $50.

Speaking to journalists in a news conference on Monday, Alagie Kuyateh manager of the company said the technology equipment can help a lot, saying “we are here to saw this technology to you so that you also can help us in application and we will also be given to invest on advertising.”

And his German colleague Erick Stakenborg, technical support said: “It can also be used for instance food production like if the groundnut or beans are not correct then outcome can be what you don’t expected to be so you may need this.”

It is already accepted technology in Europe and U.S all the larger industry are using it and I don’t think it has ever produce in the Gambia yet, and if you buy it will cost you ten thousand dollars per one if people don’t have the money we can also talk about renting for one month but also depend on the amount you need, he said.

According to him, it can only be use by using the internet and that journalists can also use it during reporting, adding “and it is not easy to destroy but if you need technician no need to call someone from England to come and make it for you what you have to do is to call them to direct them on how to fix the problem.”

“Even if your laptops have a problem you can use it to connect with the technician to help them fix the laptop. It doesn’t matter where you are as far as you have the internet connection 4G is all ok what you need to do is just charge it, “he said.
