Wah Sa Halat 5th Award Night Is Saturday

It is all about Wah Sa Halat event this Saturday for its annual entertainment awards taking place at the Pencha Mii Hall, Paradise Suites Hotel, Kololi.

This year’s event marks the fifth edition of Wa Sa Halat entertainment awards.

Wah Sa Halat becomes one of the most successful entertainment talk shows in The Gambia since its inception in 2012 and has successfully brought together stakeholders in the entertainment industry in a way that puts them on the right position to host a truly and authentic Gambian entertainment awards.

Speaking at the conference, Sally Njie AKA Sista Njie CEO and founder of the Wah Sah Halat assured that this year event is will be bigger and better “because it’s the fifth awards night.”

She added that the edition will also create employment opportunities and opportunities for all artists and presenters that are part of it.

She also highlighted their challenges regarding the shows as organizing such a big awards is not easy. “We want artists to be flying when coming to the awards but is challenging, also getting sponsorship and partnering is another challenge,” she disclosed.

She pointed out that “Media plays a vital role in passing on information and they appreciate that,” she said.

Queeny B member of the organising committee said: in every competition, there must be a winner and a loser but in this competition, every nominee is a winner.

Chareh Sanneh also a member of the organising committee disclosed that, this year awards night the print and online media are part of the nominees.
