Over 180 Polish Tourists Arrive in Destination Gambia

The Rainbow Tours Company maiden flight became the latest to bring tourists to the Destination Gambia in the ongoing 2019 winter tourism season as one hundred and eight-six tourists Polish arrived in the country on Friday night.

Tourists from the Eastern European started coming to the destination in their numbers in November 2013 winter tourism season and season then the Smiling Coast of Africa has become a choice for some of the tourists from Poland and Slovakia.

Expressing his company’s delight over the flight, Mr Micheal, Tour Leader from Rainbow Tours Company noted that his company is one of the biggest tour operators in Eastern Europe. He expressed their happiness as they flew into the destination one hundred eighty-six tourists direct from Warsaw, Poland to The Gambia.

He said the tourists are here to enjoy experience and have good holiday in the Smiling Coast of Africa. Without hiding his feeling for the country, he said with the development in progress in term of tourism facilities and the ongoing re-construction of the airport will elevate the country.

Mr Micheal disclosed in November Rainbow Tours will be doing one flight and from November onwards it is going to be two flights a week from Warsaw and Krakow to The Gambia.

Fatoumatta Ceesay of Alkamba Travel and Tours who is the ground handler of Rainbow Tours Company disclosed the high level of their preparedness for the season. She noted that Alkamba Tours has new package of excursions for their clients.

She added that if government can put the current situation in the country in control, more tourists are ready to come to the destination from Poland.
