Fatou Toufa Jallow a 23-year-old girl, who won the July 22nd beauty pageant, has accused former president Yahya Jammeh of sexual assault at State House.
On Thursday, Mrs Jallow told the TRRC “He (Yahya Jammeh) pulled my dress up and he was just saying things and penetrated me but before he did, he took a needle out his pocket and injected. As he pushed his penis into me with my face slushed into the pillow and with all this happening, I could hear the Quranic recitation from the ‘Gamo’ a religious gathering and Yahya Jammeh was sweating a lot.”
Yahya Jammeh sodomised me what I mean is he took his penis and put it into my anus instead of my vagina that is what sodomy means and while he was doing this, he was so comfortable, she added.
She said ‘Jammeh said let’s see if you are a virgin, I swear to God I was scared and I was apologising please don’t do this and he held my hands and pulled his pants down and started rubbing his genital on my face, I had a dress on and a legion underneath.’
According to her, Jammeh didn’t want to have a sex with her to get pleasure, what he wanted to do was to hurt her, what he wanted to do was to teach me a lesson with his ego because he has no respect for humanity.
However, Mrs Jallow said former president Yahya Jammeh gave her and one Awa Jammeh 200,000 dalasi and gave the rest of the winners 100,000, dalasi adding their first meeting with him (Jammeh) gave her 50,000 dalasi.
“Awa Jammeh and I received 200,000 each and the rest received 100,000 dalasi each with laptops, iPad and basket full of items,” she said.
She added that Jammeh that:“Gave me a medicine which was black in a bottle and told me this is good for stomach crumb, it was like a charcoal, and gave me 50,000 dalasi and gave the others money but I didn’t know how much it.”
